Mad Science parties can be a hit with kids.

Ideas. Ideas. Ideas. Wondering what to do for that upcoming party? Whether at home or away, make some memories with these fun party ideas for kids on the move.

Let go of my LEGO:

There’ll be no arguing when blindfolded building races, a Jell-O LEGO dig, LEGO maze and chopstick relays keep active kids engaged. Clever Celebrations is a planning service that customizes any clever party you can imagine. Kids play games, build enormous towers and take home their sculpture creations.

Brandish your light saber and celebrate:

Young Jedis choose from 16 Star Wars-themed projects including building a mini R2D2 or making Yoda with glow-in-the-dark paint. They’ll be inspired, play games and bring home their creations. You can bring your own food to this party or have Kidcreate Studio come to your place. Gift bags let guests create at home too. Let the force be with you!

Gone fishin’:

Did you realize that Centennial Lake is plum full of stocked fish? Throw out a baited invitation and have kids see who can catch one first. The park offers great places to celebrate an outdoors occasion. After they’ve caught their limit, trade the poles in for clubs and visit the putting course for a round of golf.

For a customized keepsake:

Everyone gets to be creative during this do-it-yourself workshop. Choose from plates, mugs, bowls, vases, tiles and more. Kids especially love the animal figurines and piggy banks. The shop fires all creations so they are ready for pick-up within a week. Bring food and decorations to their party room and be sure to have the guests leave their mark on a plate for the kid of honor.

Slide into adventure:

Let your kids join in the high-climbing, low-crawling, slip-sliding adventure in this almost-one-acre indoor park. It’s especially great for parties during the cold months. They provide paper products, invitations and a tie-dye Adventure Peak t-shirt for the birthday kid. Colored t-shirts are also available so everyone is easy to identify while out exploring. Children will climb the trees and meander the pathways through this densely landscaped interior. Who knows what they might discover!
