Eight Great Massages
There are a myriad of types of massages available these days. I’ve had the pleasure of trying most of them, mostly because I’m adventurous, but also because I need a lot of outside help to focus and relax.
To be honest, it just feels good to be touched by someone with trained hands. I always know I’m in for a good session when the practitioner avoids asking me what I want and, instead, listens to my latest aches and pains and then tailors their contact to my true needs.
In the February issue of Edina Magazine (or edinamag.com), we’ll highlight the following eight unique massage disciplines that’ll make you go, “Ooooo.” If you decide to try one of them, I can assure you it’ll turn into an “ahhhh!”
Spalon Montage: Hot Stone Massage
The Day Spa: Reiki
Juut Salonspa Prenatal Massage
Zen Experience - Massage and Wellness: Foot Reflexology
Massage Envy: Geriatric
The Metropolitan Clinic: Deep Tissue
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Center: Tui Na
SPA-GO : Purcussion
