Azure Innovation Day

In this workshop, attendees will get hands-on experience with the Azure platform. As one of many workshops to come, we’ll touch on getting started with the basics, and focus on the most popular Azure services to quickly get your workloads running on the platform. For most users, these services are vital to a successful implementation and consumption of cloud services moving forward. 

Learn to Ballroom Dance!

Try out this three-week sampler dance class. Learn the classic dances, from elegant waltzes to fiery tangos. Monica Mohn, a former competitive dancer who now teaches her passion to the community, will teach all of these dances. Couples only.

March Floral Design Workshop

Inspired by nature, this willow basket wreath will be your favorite accent for a springtime welcome. Featuring permanent stems of viburnum, blooming forsythia branches, and streptocarpus, and finished with cheerful ribbon, a butterfly pick, and a bird’s nest, this arrangement captures the sights of spring. Best of all, it requires no water and will last long through the season.

Springtime in Paris Floral Design Workshop

Ooh la la! Effortlessly chic by nature and elegant in approach, Parisian style sets the stage for a springtime rendezvous. French tulips, freesia, and pussy willow provide diverse color and soft texture. Variegated aspidistra leaves line the tall, stately vase, while bear grass and hanging amaranthus drape around its edges to give this grandiose arrangement a dramatic presence.

Vintage Holiday Tea

Travel back to another time and place. Sip tea with friends and munch on some treats while enjoying a vintage hat show brought to you by expert Heather Edgington. This event is a partnership between the Edina Senior Center and the Historic Cahill School staff, and it will include a tour of some of Edina’s oldest buildings. Registration is required.
