Co-hosts Molly Bloom, Marc Sanchez and Sanden Totten will show audiences how the human brain can take a handful of signals from the eyes and ears and turn them into vibrant pictures of the world. There will be magic tricks, dance moves, out-of-body experiences and even a game show. There will be a meet & greet after the show.

The great state of Minnesota boasts a vibrant arts scene, and MacPhail is proud to present some of the finest, including our very own faculty. Acclaimed pianist and composer Gregory Theisen wrote a pair of piano duos based on two international cities. J.D. and Fred Steele, members of the celebrated Steele family, have been an integral part of the Twin Cities music scene for decades. Guest Libby Larsen is an internationally renowned composer who set to music her favorite local poets.

Kick off your shoes and enjoy the lively Caribbean rhythms and upbeat tunes of Rising Stars Youth Steel Drum Orchestra. From the island of St. Thomas, this group will perform a joint concert with Edina High School’s concert band and concert orchestra.
Join this music ensemble at the historic Summit Center for their presentation of Divine Light, a chamber performance that will explore the relationship between the human and the divine. Along with Ruggero Allifranchini on violin, there will be two performances along with preconcert talks illuminating the stories behind the songs. First Performance 4–5:30 p.m., second performance 7–8:30 p.m.

Join Jimmy Stewart & Aili Emilia to celebrate the release of their debut album, Experimental Mice. Heavily influenced by singer-songwriters like Damien Rice, the album features intricate finger picking, rich cello, and simple but beautiful vocal harmonies. Come to hear the live version played with a full band, plus the lovely Elsa Lee to start off the night.
9x22 is a monthly opportunity for three choreographers of varying styles to present their work and discuss it with an informed and engaged audience.
