Paul Nelson Meet and Greet at Room & Board

Photographer Paul Nelson, co-founder of Wild Birds Flying, will be the guest artist at a meet-and-greet at Room & Board in Edina on Wednesday, June 13 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Paul follows migratory patterns of North American birds to capture a unique glimpse of their movements as they take off for flight. He developed a specialized photography rig that allows him to capture split-second images of the birds, resulting in stunning photographs that show patterns and details that the naked eye alone wouldn't be able to see.

Book Launch Party!

Join Edina author Megan Maynor for a sandcastle-themed book launch party celebrating her new picture book for children, The Sandcastle That Lola Built, published by Knopf Books for Young Readers.

We'll have real sand to dig in and sea glass to find, tasty treats, a giant collaborative sandcastle art project, and, of course...story time!
