Delve into the world of music and have a play time at a fun, yet unique educational experience that initiates the development of skills in a creative environment. From composition to jazz to Korean drumming, there’s a variety of different camps suited for every type of aspiring musician.

Experienced teaching artists are excited to make music with students who love music—blending high quality instruction with fun in the classrooms. With over 35 summer camps to choose from, there is something for everyone at any age and every music level. Ages three-adult. 

Based on the book by Tony Award winner Steven Levenson, Dear Evan Hansen is a heart-wrenching musical about a high school boy who makes a daring gambit to fit in. Catch the musical reviewers are raving about before it’s gone. Ages 12 and up.

Taiwanese pianist Gloria Shih and St. Paul based violinist Marc Levine will perform pieces by modern classical composers who have melded traditional composition with jazz style. The Baroque Room in Lowertown will also host art by New York’s Jenny Lin. All ages.

For 57 years, the Minnesota Boychoir has been helping boys from all walks of life learn musicianship and community and have performed all over the world. All four of their ensembles will be performing both traditional and secular pieces. All ages.

Jam along with the Edina Chorale as they perform popular songs from Tony award-winning Broadway musicals, nostalgic tunes from the past few decades and current chart-topping hits. All ages.

Join the St. Paul Civic Symphony in enjoying the sweet sounds of classic favorites in the heart of the Landmark Center’s majestic atrium. All ages.

Wander through the open private studios and galleries to view a variety of creative mediums from more than 800 local Minneapolis artists. As the largest open studio tour in the country, visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of art through viewing, purchasing and connecting with the artists themselves.

Celebrate the Worldwide Day of Botanical Art with with the opening reception of "Out of the Woods," a national traveling art exhibition celebrating trees in public gardens. The event will also feature demonstrations and tours by artists from the Minnesota School of Botanical Art and a presentation by Director of Exhibitions for the American Society of Botanical Artists Carol Woodin.
