Join the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) in taking
strides to change the course of ovarian cancer at the 2017 HOM Teal Strides for
Ovarian Cancer. Participate in either a 5K run or 2K walk around Rosland Park
in Edina and engage in a variety of family-friendly activities.
Participants are encouraged to register, form a team and
fundraise to make a difference!
Organization Description: Hammer Residences, Inc. is a Minnesota non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1923 by Alvina Hammer, Hammer provides residential caring support for adult and children with developmental disabilities. Hammer Residences, Inc. serves more than 1500 individuals with a wide range of intellectual disabilities like Autism and Down syndrome. 275 adults reside in 36 group homes and 10 apartment programs in the western suburbs of Minneapolis.

Breanna’s Star is a Night of Art, Celebration and Giving in support of Breanna’s Gift, an organization bringing classes & workshops in visual arts, dance, music, theater and “Art Takeout” to children at Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest and Children’s Minnesota in St. Paul and Minneapolis. The event includes appetizers, wine and beer, silent and live auctions, a make-it-yourself art project and entertainment by country/rock/swing band Trailer Trash. Attire is casual.
Fraser Bowling with Celebrities matches up participants with local luminaries to bowl, drink, eat and raise awareness and money for Fraser, Minnesota's largest and most experienced provider of autism services.
The
Alzheimer’s Association annual Purple Gala is a time to celebrate and honor the
lives of people impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. The evening
includes a reception and silent auction followed by a gourmet dinner, live
auction, entertainment, and after party with a live band. Proceeds from the
Gala raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

We will be tasting a variety of wines with connoisseur Tyler Melton while trying a variety of appetizer pairings. There will also be a silent auction that will feature various date nights from local restaurants.
