Movie Night at the Ballpark

AARP Minnesota will be hosting the Fifth Annual Movie Night at the Ballpark at St. Paul’s CHS Field on August 1st, where we will be screening A League of Their Own (rated PG). Moviegoers can take in the event in the stands or they can bring a blanket to enjoy the movie from the outfield of the park. The event is free to movie-lovers of any age, family-friendly and inclusive to all, and a fantastic way to connect to the richness and heart of St. Paul.

Minnesota Reptile Show

Unleash your cold blooded side and marvel at reptiles such as snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, chameleons, geckos, dragons and more. Gawk at small exotic mammals, such as sugar gliders, and hedgehogs or browse through various animal vendors for the latest food, cages and toys for your next pet.

31st Annual Taste of Greece Festival

The Taste of Greece runs Friday and Saturday, September 6-7, from noon to 10 pm, and Sunday, September 8, from noon to 6 pm. Early Bird Specials on Friday noon - 4pm.

Taste of Greece will feature authentic Greek food, and handmade Greek desserts. The Levendes and the Chris Kalogerson Band will provide live Greek music, and the St. Mary’s Hellenic Dance Troup will perform authentic Greek folk dances. 

Kids Summer Art Camp at Haute House Studio

Led by Gracie and Claire (Bridget's high-school aged cousins from Luverne, MN), the art projects will consist of decorating and painting floral pots, leaf and flower clay impressions, canvas bags and hand towel decorating, cement stones and more! An art-lovers dream week! Monday through Thursday (M/Tu/W/Th) from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Ages 7-12. Please bring a nut-free lunch. A nut-free snack and water will be provided. 

Sandcastles Contest on White Bear Lake

What better way to start your summer than by building a good old-fashioned sand castle or crazy sand creature? Bring your family, sand sculpture tools and your A-game because there will be prizes for the winners.

Juggle Jam 21

World’s Largest Youth Juggling Group Celebrates 21th Annual Juggle Jam
Over 90 jugglers from Twin Cities-based JUGHEADS to perform on May 17th-18th

Juggle Jam, a popular, family-event featuring the cast of the world’s largest youth juggling group returns for the 21th straight year on May 17th-18th.  The show will include over 90 members of the JUGHEADS Youth Juggling Company in an energetic, music-filled performance at Hopkins High School.

Shelter Vet Camp at the Animal Humane Society

If your child wants to grow up to be a veterinarian, this 3-hour program can set them down the right path. They’ll learn about surgery skills using a pretend patient, how to recognize common illnesses and what it’s like to work at a shelter. Kids grades 3-6.

2nd Annual Summer Solstice Street Dance

Let's twist again. Like we did last summer! Back by popular demand, Edina Community Education is excited to host the 2nd Annual Summer Solstice Street Dance! on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 5:30-9:30pm at the Edina Community Center, Gold Lot. 

Stage schedule includes KIDSDANCE DJ (5:30-7:30pm) and Edina's own Six Still Standing Band (7:30-9:30pm).
