CAKE-Off 2025
CAKE-Off (Community Action for Kids’ Education) celebrates all the ways Ed Fund ensures continued excellence in Edina Public Schools. It is an opportunity to hear first-hand from teachers, administrators and students about the work being done in our schools and how your contributions make a direct impact in their lives! Ed Fund’s work in our 3 core areas will be highlighted:
- Mental Health and Wellness for both students and staff
- Literacy and teacher training in the Science of Reading
- STEAM – including our latest projects in STEM and our commitment to arts programming this year
Show off your creativity in the Ed Fund CAKE-Off Home Edition. Make your favorite cake, cupcakes, pie, cookies or any treat (baked or not) at home and enter to win.
- Start by making and decorating at home
- Come up with a name for your treat and take a few pictures and maybe even a short video (optional) of you with your treat
- Enjoy your treat with family and friends—yes, you get to eat what you make
- Email all your photos and your video to us to share the week of CAKE-Off (edfund@edinaschools.org)
- Submissions are now open and will be accepted any time before 5 p.m. on January 29
All entries will be featured on the Ed Fund website and voting will begin on February 4 and end at 8 a.m. on February 7. Winners will be announced at the CAKE-Off and online on February 7.
Prizes will be awarded for the most votes in each of the following categories: Preschool, Kindergarten through Grade 2, Grade 3 through 5, Grade 6 through 8, Grade 9 through 12 and an adult category.
