DESCRIPTION:Edina High School’s Theater for All program brings this beloved children’s tale to life. \nEstablished in 2014 by Lisa Hanson & Jessica Froehlich\, Edina High School’s Theatre for All program brings Unified programming to theatre. In Fall 2023 Jane Froiland and Hannah Bast stepped in as the new teachers and directors off this special program. This course pairs special needs students with typical peers. These pairs create and perform their roles together. This partnership model allows students who typically do not get the opportunity to engage in performance the chance to be center stage. By the end of the course\, students have created a show which they share with the community at the Edina Performing Arts Center. The best way to understand how it works is to attend a show!

DESCRIPTION:Test your skills at the Edina Football Combine Event on August 6. \nParticipants will have the opportunity to take part in a skills combine that will test their speed\, agility\, passing\, catching\, and strength. \nAthletes will also receive position-specific training from quarterback and wide receiver coaches from Quarterback Football Training (QBFT) and TNT Academy. \nThis event is an open-house format\, so come by any time to complete your testing. After testing\, EFA welcomes all athletes to stay for pick-up games and fun interactions with the Edina Varsity Football players. \nThis event is free for any 4th-8th grade athlete who is registered for Edina Football for the Fall 2023 season (tackle and flag football). If you’re not registered for football\, there will be a $25 fee to participate. This fee is refundable if you register for football for the upcoming season! \nCombine Skills/ Stations \nCombine Tests: 20-yard dash\, shuttle drill\, 5-10-5\, broad jump\, push-ups\, vertical jump. \nSkills: Pass & catch \nEach player will receive a Personalized Assessment Report. A Leader Board will be available at EdinaSports.org. \nWhat To Bring:  Not much\, it’s a t-shirt and shorts event\, but bring a water bottle (with your name on it)\, football cleats and gloves if your son wants to catch.
