Last fall Marsha Milliken, Marie Sheridan, Nancy Subra and Joann Diamond of Federated Insurance in Edina embarked on the weight-loss challenge called Slim Down to Sin Town, sponsored by Medifast Weight Control Centers and KQRS Radio.

At a recognition banquet prior to the annual general membership meeting in November, Edina Soccer Club administrator Ann Buratti won the award for Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) Administrator of the Year. The award was well deserved.

SotaRol opened in November near 50th and France next door to AgraCulture. It is serving up delicious and inexpensive Asian dishes for people on the go.

Minnesota NHL great Lou Nanne and Michael McDermott, CEO of McDermott Restaurants, have partnered to open Lou Nanne’s on France Avenue in Edina. McDermott owns Rojo Mexican Grill and Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill.
