Talking about money isn’t always easy, especially when a couple is juggling the excitement and expenses of planning a wedding. Hannah and Brady Rein understand all too well. The accountants-by-day created Financially Engaged, a platform designed to help partners navigate financial conversations stress-free.

“Life experiences lead to how you see money as an adult,” Hannah says. “It’s really tricky for couples to get married and suddenly have to combine finances and money strategies. It’s the perfect environment to create tension. It’s such a common struggle we see across so many different couples.”

Edina’s Katie Rheault and her husband, Jamie Arenz, started following Financially Engaged’s tips in 2019. “At one point in my life, I was very motivated by their content about paying off debt. Now, I’m done paying off my student loans, so I’m able to engage more with their content about investing,” Rheault says, adding that the Rein’s content is relatable because they are also parents of young children.

“I just really like that they post about how to help budget for the holidays, or planning for family fun,” she says.
