Heartwarming Tastes for the Holidays

The weather changes quickly in November, and we need comfort food as the wind picks up and the temperatures drop. A classic diner breakfast at Convention Grill or a handmade breakfast sandwich at Ambrosia are good starts to chilly days. The familiar spicy tea at Good Earth or an excellent chai or Persian coffee with a sweet treat at Luminous Café in Southdale Center brightens a gray afternoon. A hearty dinner at Cahill Bistro helps us accept that sweaters and boots are here to stay a while. And thanks to the favorite Newberry Sandwich at The Hilltop, we can enjoy turkey and cranberries, staples of November’s best comfort meal, all year long—definitely something to be thankful for. Bon appétit, and stay cozy!
