Dampfwerk Distillery’s Latest Creation is a Sweet and Spicy Spirit Perfect for Fall

by | Oct 2019

A bottle of Dampfwerk Distillery's Aquavit.

Substitute this in your next bloody Mary, old fashioned, or other classic cocktails to add a Northern twist worthy of any Minnesotan.

One of Dampfwerk Distillery’s latest products is a Northern German representation of Aquavit, a spirit built up of unique botanicals like caraway. What makes this spirit even more interesting is that they’ve infused it with bourbon. This is something no one else on the market is doing. The flavor profile is spicy, savory, sweet and incredibly warming. It pairs beautifully with the crisp October temperatures. Golden in hue, it is best enjoyed frozen to increase the viscosity, depth of flavors and roundness. Substitute this in your next bloody Mary, old fashioned, or other classic cocktails to add a Northern twist worthy of any Minnesotan.
