The seasonal pop-up will run from late November through Christmas Eve.
Dayton’s Holiday Market is setting up shop in Southdale Center this winter for the first time ever. The market, traditionally found in Downtown Minneapolis’ Nicollet Mall, is offering twice the holiday cheer this year with its second location. Visitors have from November 20 through December 24 to visit the holiday boutique and browse nostalgic Dayton’s merchandise commemorating the 40th anniversary of Dayton’s iconic Santa Bear.
The pop-up will also feature the goods of more than 50 local vendors. Shoppers will find a multitude of potential gifts from local vendors including Gimme Gimme Pottery, Here’s the Deal Spice Company, Heritage Gear, Molly Pepper, Marlo Graham, Silky Fudge and Solid Design Studio.
This isn’t the first time Dayton’s has had a presence at the historic Edina mall; it was one of the cornerstone department stores that opened in 1956. Now, its return marks another step forward in the evolution of Southdale Center over the past year.
