Arbor Day Celebration Tree Planting 2025

Celebrate Arbor Day by learning how to plant a tree and then helping plant them in the nature restoration areas around Braemar Golf Course.

The event begins with a tree-planting demonstration. Then people will be sent off in groups to plant trees. Park Maintenance will have loosened the dirt in the planting spots to make planting easier.

All ages are welcome. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring gloves. All other equipment will be provided.

Food and beverages also will be available for purchase.

A limited number of free tree seedlings will be handed out to volunteers so they can plant trees in their own yard.
