Edina Chorale Presents “Hope Illuminates”

The Edina Chorale invites the community to experience an uplifting evening of choral-orchestral masterworks with Hope Illuminates. This moving concert features two extraordinary masterworks performed by a 100-voice choir, accompanied by professional chamber orchestra, creating a rich and immersive musical experience. The program includes Elaine Hagenberg’s Illuminare, a contemporary work celebrated for its lyrical beauty, exuberance and messages of light and hope.

Following that will be a performance of the beloved Requiem by Gabriel Fauré. This performance will feature professional soprano, Hannah Armstrong, and baritone, David Gindra. Fauré’s Requiem is praised for the calm and peaceful tone in which he presents the texts. The orchestral textures are fluid and surprising, emphasizing choral writing that touches the soul.
