Summer in Edina occurs between two renowned events: the Edina Art Fair on 50th and France in June and the Fall into the Arts festival at Centennial Lakes in September. But the creativity, quality and spontaneity of an excellent art fair is available all year at Gallery 360.
This unique shop at 50th Street and Xerxes Avenue has been featuring Twin Cities artists for 23 years. It showcases landscape, abstract and portrait paintings, functional and decorative ceramics, glass art, prints and woodcraft, photography and one-of-a-kind fashion, an array of jewelry and artistic cards and games. The selection of handmade creations at Gallery 360 is as varied and delightful as the random treasures in booths at an art fair. It’s also fresh and surprising—the exhibitions in the back gallery and the “5 foot shows” that vertically display art change frequently, so there is always something new at this magic spot.
Merry Beck opened Gallery 360 not only to sell art, but also to celebrate it at popular exhibition openings, artist talks and other gatherings. She also offers art consulting services.
“Gallery 360 is truly local in so many ways,” says Chris Chookiatsirichai, an artist who works at the store and whose jewelry is sold there.
“… We work with several artists from Edina and Linden Hills,” Chookiatsirichai says as she points out paintings by Edina artist Annie Metzger.
Bringing neighbors together, all surrounded by amazing art. Fun-filled Gallery 360 radiates beauty, imagination and camaraderie in a vibrant tribute to local artists.
