Stylist Paul Felipe of Sloane’s Beauty Bar did hair and makeup for our special fall fashion feature. He says the biggest trick to achieving the “hard set” hairstyle he gave to model KT Anderson is to brush and spray each section of clean, dry hair with hairspray before curling with a 1-inch barrel curling iron. Then set those curls with clips or pins and allow the hair to cool before styling. Want to get your blowout to last? Felipe says to tip your head upside down at night, spray with dry shampoo and secure your hair, high on your head, loosely in a scrunchie before going to sleep. You’ll wake up with volume and be ready for your day!
Email Paul Felipe at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how to get the hair & makeup looks in our fashion feature.
