Teeing up to drive out hunger.
After a necessary but successful virtual event last year, Wayne Kostroski’s Taste Fore the Tour is back in person this year at Interlachen Country Club in Edina. Hosted by three-time James Beard award-winning TV personality and chef Andrew Zimmern in advance of the 3M Open golf tournament, Taste Fore the Tour gathers Minnesota and nationally known chefs, athletes and celebrities in support of hunger relief. Proceeds from the event go to VEAP, one of the largest food pantries in Minnesota, providing millions of meals annually to community members in need. Kostroski notes that last year’s virtual event demonstrated how a far-reaching and important message can generate support way beyond the efforts of a single night. Anyone can support the goal of Taste Fore the Tour by learning more about the nutrition needs of the hungry and taking action to volunteer or donate.
