Our July issue is always a fun one, as it’s the Best of Edina issue. Not only does it unveil the winners of our annual readers’ poll, but it’s also an opportunity to celebrate some of the fun and meaningful things Edina has to offer.
Writer Zoe Deal put together a list of dog-friendly patios around town, so you never have to choose between spending time with your human and furry friends again. We also checked in with Morningside Theatre Company’s new artistic director to hear about how the group has expanded its offerings since the pandemic. For my annual Editor’s Picks, I indulged my own curiosity by exploring the origins of this city. And we’re also honoring the newly retired executive director of the Edina Community Foundation, Dick Crockett, after 20 years in public service to the betterment of the city.
The Best of Edina issue is always a beautiful reminder of what a vibrant, thriving and generous community this is. Now, you have my permission to skip over here to see our reader-voted winners and finalists—but don’t forget to page back through and read about the other community members and businesses featured throughout this issue!
