The Galleria is now home of the steak.

Meat eaters of Edina, rejoice! Residents can satisfy their cravings for filet mignon and prime rib after the opening of dedicated steakhouse Pittsburgh Blue at the Galleria this November.

The restaurant’s name is derived from the culinary preferences of Pittsburgh steelworkers, who preferred steaks that were charred black on the outside and raw in the middle. It is this same hearty attitude that is echoed throughout the restaurant’s menu, which features a variety of robust items, including the Caveman cheese curds, potatoes loaded with bacon and cheese, and decadent brownies and chocolate cakes. Pittsburgh Blue also serves up inventive cocktails with an attitude, such as The U.G.L.Y Prom Date, a vodka and rosemary-infused concoction.

“Pittsburgh Blue is absolutely a compliment to the other Parasole Restaurants in the area, such as Good Earth and Mozza Mia,” says Kip Clayton, vice president of marketing and business development for Parasole Restaurants. In addition to stunning lunch and dinner selections, Clayton boasts that Pittsburgh Blue has a “killer chef-driven happy hour menu that rivals any other in the Twin Cities.” It sounds like Pittsburgh Blue is sure to become a classic in the hearts (and stomachs) of Edinians.
