We frequently hear that getting packed up for a getaway is the most stressful part of the entire trip planning process.
Summer vacation is sure looking a lot different these days, but we’re guessing there’s quite a few people who still have cabin trips on the books. We frequently hear that getting packed up for a getaway is the most stressful part of the entire trip planning process. However, it doesn’t need to be that way, and we love sharing with people our favorite tips for how to pack with a minimalist mindset.
Mix, Match & Minimize
This may sound like no-brainer but who hasn’t returned from a trip only to realize half the items weren’t worn? So, look at the weather and plan accordingly. And if each clothing item can’t pass the “can this be worn multiple ways” test, leave it at home. Plan outfits with a similar color palette, making it easy to mix and match.
Footloose & Fancy Free
Shoes take up the most room. Stick with a cute sneaker, a sandal and one versatile dressier option if needed.
Convenience Cubed
Cubes keep items organized and are fantastic space savers. And save those skincare and beauty samples for travel.
Enjoy your next trip. We promise you won’t miss any of the extra stuff!
