Photographer captures eagle’s piercing gaze.
A picture window led to a photo-perfect moment for amateur photographer Tracy Mooty. The back of her home looks out over Lake Cornelia, and she frequently pauses at the window to witness the many wonders of nature.
“That particular day, I happened to see the eagle perched in our black walnut tree, one of their favorite places from which to fish,” Mooty says. “I have always been and forever will be awed by the sight of an eagle; to see one in my own backyard simply takes my breath away.”
