Evereve’s Minneapolis Influencer Social was held at the Evereve home office on June 13, 2019.

Angel Foundation’s Camp Angel Luncheon was held on May 17, 2019 at The Westin Edina Galleria. Edina Mayor James B. Hovland proclaimed it Angel Foundation Day and presented the proclamation to Angel Foundation Founder, Margie Sborov.

A private reception was held at the Edina home of Therese and Steffen Hovard in May to showcase Mill City Summer Opera, now in its 8th successful season.

At this 40th annual community volunteer recognition reception, honorees from all around Edina were publically thanked for their volunteer efforts. Mayor Hovland also awarded five individual service commendations. Congratulations to all of the honorees.

Guests were able to meet and mingle with the five finalists in the Edina Community Foundation’s Bold New Idea contest.

In February, lords and ladies of Edina attended the royal Edina Chamber Gala, complete with cuisine fit for a royal, cocktails, auction bidding as well as entertainment and a casino. Event proceeds benefit the mission of the Edina Chamber of Commerce.

On January 12, 2019, Edina author Jackie Hanson celebrated the release of her novel, A Place in Time, at a book release party held at Wooden Hill Brewing Co. T

Representatives from Cooperative Energy Futures, IPS Solar and the City of Edina gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate a new community solar project located on the roof of the Edina Public Works Building.
