Spring

Art for the Garden Exhibition
Artists display their beautiful garden-themed artwork, which is created through clay, drawing, sculpture, jewelry and painting. Pick out the perfect home or garden decoration to celebrate the end of winter.

Taste of Edina
This is a beautiful showcasing and sampling event of quality food and wine. Guests get to sip and sample to their heart’s content from local restaurants and from an assortment of wine, craft beer and liquor. The VIP Experience adds extra flavor to the fun!

Summer

Edina Art Fair
Ranked number one in Minnesota, the Edina Art Fair features the creative artwork of the top 280 artists from near and far. Paired with music, entertainment, food and drink, this annual event proudly showcases a variety of art for both locals and visitors alike.

Edina Parade of Boats
Closing in on 30 years, the annual Parade of Boats, hosted by the Edina Model Yacht Club, fills Centennial Lakes Park with a variety of radio-controlled boats. While some model boats zip around on the water, others are available for closer inspection out of the water.

Outdoor Movies in the Park
Grab your date, a group of friends or your whole family for a weekly outdoor movie at Centennial Lakes Park. Thursdays starting at dusk, the park puts on movies and provides a concession stand for those salty snack cravings. Check the schedule to see which films are being featured, claim your spot on the grass with a blanket and snuggle in for a night of fun!

Fourth of July Festivities
Deck yourself out in the patriotic red, white and blue for America’s birthday. Celebrate with your city neighbors at the Fourth of July parade, which starts behind Edina City Hall. A spectacular fireworks display happens at night at Roseland Park.

Fall

Fall into the Arts Festival
A benefit for the Edina Crime Prevention Fund at Centennial Lakes Park, said to be one of the most beautiful locations in the country. The festival typically features more than 200 artists, exhibitors, food vendors and sponsors. Check out the wide array of media ranging from photography to wearable arts.

Halloween Party
Find the sweetest candy treats and enjoy various activities at the family-friendly, not-so-scary Halloween Party at Edinborough Park. Families are encouraged to bring their costumed kiddos and take advantage of the full access to Adventure Peak and the Great Hall.

Pumpkin Fest
Trick or treat? This isn’t a trick—head over to 50th and France for a treat! Area businesses open their doors to costumed kids to hand out candy. There are also games, fire trucks that are ready to be toured and a costume contest, which is open to both pets and children; the winner will be selected by an audience applause meter!

Winter

Community Tree Lighting
Christmas celebrations can never start too early. Experience an air of festivity at 50th and France—during the day, support local businesses and visit with Santa; at night, listen to carolers and watch the live performances by Platinum Dance Company. Join the city in a community tree-lighting ceremony, and count down with the mayor to see the ornament-adorned tree shine its Christmas lights.

New Year’s Eve Party
Cheers to the new year with the whole family—Edinborough Park hosts an annual New Year’s Eve Party that lets the kids ring in the new year without staying up well past their bedtime. Play games, explore Adventure Peak, run around the Great Hall and jump into the swimming pool before 8 p.m. Then, the countdown begins, allowing for parents to get their kids in bed at a reasonable hour.

Winter Ice Festival
Embrace the chilly winter weather and head over to Centennial Lakes Park for a Winter Ice Festival. Watch the ice sculptors in awe as they transform a chunky block of ice into a beautiful figure. Families can skate under the bridges and across the lake, and kids can get their face painted. After a day of winter fun, warm up at the indoor and outdoor fireplaces while enjoying a snack from the concessions.
