Cody's Dash

This year marks the fourth annual Cody's Dash for Down Syndrome to benefit GiGi's Playhouse! Get moving for a great cause. Sign up for a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile walk, or a kids' dash, followed by an afternoon of big fun: music, face painting, food trucks, balloons and more.

All proceeds will benefit GiGi's Playhouse and the free programs and services they provide to the Down syndrome community throughout the Twin Cities. 

Edina Education Fund Golf & Tennis Classic

Let Edina Country Club golf and tennis pros guide you through a variety of drills for the 10th annual Edina Education Fund Golf & Tennis Classic. Or, if golf and tennis aren’t your thing, you can elect to attend the kickoff dinner and auction only. Either way, your contribution will support programs and initiatives in Edina Public Schools. Kickoff dinner and auction Sunday, June 1 at 6:30 p.m. $75. Golf and tennis classic Monday, June 2.

Get Your Rear in Gear 5k

Listening to your body’s signals and getting regular medical checks are vital for leading a healthy life. Instill in yourself and your family the importance of preventative care with this run-walk event hosted by the Colon Cancer Coalition. Adults $35, kids 12 and under $15. Lemon Run/Walk

Fight childhood cancer and receive a snazzy yellow shirt to boot at the 4th annual Lemon Run/Walk. FARE Walk for Food Allergy, Minneapolis

The Fare Walk for Food Allergy brings together thousands of people seeking a safer world for the 15 million Americans with food allergies. The walk is a family-friendly event that will raise funds for food allergy research, education, advocasy and awareness. This special day in Minneapolis will include fun activities for the entire family. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. The walk begins immediately following the walk ceremony at 10:00 a.m. Check out Foodallergywalk.org\minneapolis2014 for more information.

HERO Dog Product Launch

HERO, a new Minnetonka-based pet product company is launching a line of “HERO” products to raise awareness, money and hope for rescue dogs.  The company, which will donate a percentage of profits to rescue dog causes, is launching the brand through a crowdfunding IndieGoGo campaign that kicks off February 22 at Bubbly Paws at Excelsior and Grand.

Music Festival benefiting Southdale YMCA Youth Leadership

Paul Peterson and Patty Peterson from Minnesota's first family of music are joined by Larry Bragg, former lead singer of Power of Tower and Nicholas David from The Voice, along with other musical guests on Monday, February 10 at 7pm.

Tickets are $45 per person with a three course meal available for an additional $39.

Skate with the Hornets

Are you a Hornet's Boys' Hockey Fan? Have you ever wanted to meet your favorite Hornet hockey player? Well, grab your skates and camera and head to Braemar Ice Arena on Sunday, January 26 from 1pm-2:30pm.

The Edina High School Boys' Varsity and Junior Varsity hockey players will be on site to take pictures, sign posters and skate with their fans! Hockey fun for all ages. Treats will be provided.

Bring a non-perisable food item or cash donation for VEAP food shelf.
